Article Information

Background In 2014, the University of Ottawa suspended its hockey team as a result of a sexual assault by its members.
Reason The university has announced that the team will be coming back.
Comment I really appreciate that a sports journalist (and media outlet) would focus on both the social implications of bringing the team back. It's encouraging to see people recognizing that the safety of students and the existence of a varsity team are linked.
Outcome It is yet to be seen how the new team will play out, but I'll be paying close attention.
